All is going well with my parents. Your prayers truly gave us a miracle in regards to my mother's heart. They really did expect to see some kind of heart disease and there wasn't. So many many thanks again.

Clean up in their home is going well. Difficult for them, but the insurance company is amazing.
So, please pray for the wonderful firemen who took such care in trying to protect their home and possessions, the paramedics who encouraged my mother to go to the hospital, the amazing, caring nurses and doctors who took such good care of her when she was there, all the kind people at the insurance company, all the contractors who will now play a part in bringing their home back together.

And though I feel selfish, I need to be humble and ask for prayers for myself. I think the stress and shock of it all is hitting me today and I am not dealing well. I don't want my dh and children to bear the brunt of my own grief and stress.

And, of course, in the middle of all this, my ds is making his First Communion on Sunday, which is really just the kind of joy we all need right now. But it stresses my husband because things have been rough around his family and we will be mushing everyone together on Sunday, so it should be interesting.

Whew, that's quite a bit! Thank you all. You are all always in my prayers. And part of me joyfully offers up everything we're going through if brings grace and peace to all of your intentions.

So understandable Maria! When you are trying to support your loved ones in their crisis, once things settle and resolve there is a blessed relief but it can also be a time for your own held back grief and stress on hold to well up...I will pray for you especially and your for your ds First Holy Communion!
