Hi,
My dh is going in for foot surgery on the 19th. He had a painful lump on the top of his foot, and he also has a pretty bad & painful bunion. When I finally convinced him to see the doctor about it, the ultrasound showed a mass of 5 cysts on the top. So, he is getting surgery on both the cysts, and the bunion.
He has never had any type of surgery, or anything like that. Well, he did have his wisdom teeth out when he was like 16. Anyway, I had to CONVINCE him to take off work the following day, as . he was sure he would be just fine to go back in (he works in a warehouse, and is on his feet all day.) When the doctor said he could walk on it the next day, I don't think he and dh were on the same page with what he meant.
So could you pray for this sweet, stubborn man for me? His name is Davin.

Hmmm... I seem to recall a similar line of thinking with my dh not too terribly long ago... Surgery is surgery, no matter how "minor" we might think it is. I'm glad that you convinced hime to take off!
My mom and grandmother have both had surgery on their feet, and it does take a bit of time to recover. You can start walking again pretty quickly, but really healing takes a bit more time (at least in their cases).
Praying that all goes well!
