Hi All,
I am asking for prayers please for my mom. She is at the end of her fight with metastatic breast cancer. It is now everywhere.  This has been such a long haul and we feel like we have been caring for her for so long when in reality is has only been a couple of months. We called in Hospice to help us. It is like a bad dream. It is amazing how fast this disease can overcome you.
A prayer please for my mom and her suffering. She is suffering so much right now. And also for my dad. He is doing the majority of the caretaking. This is breaking his heart. They were such a team. And if you could please say a little prayer for my children. I have been at my mom and dad's house a lot and not here. Wonderful friends have pitched in to help care for the children. But this is starting to wear on them also, not having their mom home. And also for my wonderful husband who has been picking up the slack.

Well, my mom passed away Monday night 9/24. She fought so long and so hard. Her death was very peaceful. My Dad, myself, and my husband were there.
We were holding her hands as she breathed her last breaths. It was heart wrenching, yet beautiful at the same time. It is something I will never forget. I am so thankful to God that we were able to be there and that she did not die alone.
We are at peace that she is no longer suffering like she was. Continued prayers please as we get through this difficult time and for our travels. We will be driving up to PA in a couple of weeks to lay her to rest. Thank you for your continued prayers.

I am so sorry, Kirsten. Cancer is such a painful thing to watch in a loved one. We are praying for peace and strength for your father and for all of you, and for peace and comfort for your mother. May Our Blessed Mother hold you all close to her heart.

Prayers sent. Our family just had this happen with my aunt (different type of cancer, but it spread fast and she died within a month of diagnosis). It is so hard.
