A friend is about 28 weeks' pregnant and her baby needs a blood transfusion tonight (Sun. 6 p.m.) due to problems with rH incompatability. Chances are this little fellow will need at least one more transfusion before he is born. (So you can pray even if you read this later!)

Please pray for his mom, Kathleen, and her little fellow, and the rest of their family. She is a Cath. HS'er in our parish and they have four older kids, some of whom have shared the rH problem but none have needed in utero blood transfusions. She's a little nervous about it. Thanks for the prayers. All the members of our local group are praying, too.

Edited to add:
John-Paul was born Sunday night by emergency C-section. He's about 2 lbs. He's had four blood transfusions since birth.   Please continue to pray for him and his mother and his family. Thanks so much.

As of Wednesday night, this sweet child is having severe bleeding of the brain and continues to have lung/breathing trouble. Please continue to pray.
