Dear Friends of the Board,
I have not been able to participate on the boards or even check in as often as I used to, and I feel called to apologize to all of you for being such a bad correspondent, and so inconsistenly present. Long-distant friendships may seem "different" and less important to maintain to some, but not to me. I have taken each one of your love, concern, advice, prayers, and friendship very seriously over the years. Without ever having to *meet* you...well: I have met you.
I have had some very personal physical afflictions as of late, now focused on feminine issues. The remedies only bring so much help. I hope you will pray for my relief and my peace in this area. I really do hate the whole medical appointment cycle (esp. Gynecological, which I'm sure you understand). I so wish I could be well.
But my physical issues are not the only factor. I have found myself less and less able to sit at the computer, and the results in my home *palpable* if I am taken up and intently writing or focusing on something online. I truly do "tune out" and become preoccupied. There is only one computer, right in the middle of everyone's activity (and my husband works at home, in an area, very close by). The answer is to waken earlier or stay up later. But I really need my sleep, as you know.
So, alas, consider me for now, as kind of "checked out". I miss all of you and love to see those mails in my inbox---often getting me through the day. But, I have to really FOCUS right now and "be available" to what is going on in my life and avoid the computer. I will try to check in periodically, but forgive me for not keeping up---I do pray each and every day for your intentions. I'll just have to trust Our Lady to know what they are.  I will be concerned about you all.
I just felt I owed explaining....I didn't want to seem so haphazard or inattentive....maybe I didn't need to.  You all know what I mean! But please, do continue to love me, and to pray for me and my fam.

I'm so sorry for all you are going through, and will pray for your healing and peace. Thanks for letting us know so we can pray for you. You will definitely be missed while you are "away". Hope to hear from you again soon.

Nina, your presence here is always a blessed one, every posting has a beautiful 'signature' of love on them.
I will be praying especially for you and your health problems at present, it is a heavy cross and I hope it will be removed quickly.
