Please would you pray for me. I am feeling very anxious. I was supposed to be induced on Monday 9th, at 38 weeks as this would be my second VBAC - but today when I saw the OB (not my usual - different one in the practice) she adviced me to put it off another week (and hopefully go into labor on my own) as she saw it as risky with no cervix changes. I had been feeling a little worried anyway - knowing that inductions after a C-Section can be risky. I know that it is better to try and go naturally - and I just need faith that God is in control and this baby will be born in his timing.
Sorry if this is a little garbled - please pray that I go into labor naturally in the next few days. (It is ironic to be praying this when I spent most of the pregnancy praying that I would not have a premature baby!!)
And if anyone has any experience of a vbac induction after a c-section - please would you pm me.

Praying for you! I don't have experience with VBACs but an induction is always much harder on your uterus. Natural is much better.
So, labor prayers being sent your way!!! Try tootsie rolls, they work great for me.

Praying. I was so anxious before my last baby and was so blessed by the prayers I asked for here.

Praying for you and pm'ing you as well! I've succesfully delivered 2 VBAC's now - both inductions. All will be well, and I think waiting for your body to at least be in gear is better. Natural would be *great* if you have the patience and the baby isn't stressed at all!
Lots of hugs. Eat chocolate. Drink lots of water. Maybe find some gushy movies to distract you. I'll be praying!

Marilyn,
The exact same thing happened to me just 3 weeks ago. I was really, really hoping and praying for a VBAC.Thank God, I didn't go into labor as it turned out I had placenta previa, the baby was breech and her arms were up over her head. What a heck of a delivery that would have been! I will pray for peace of mind for whatever ends up happening with your situation. God knows.

2 VBACS here, too, Marylin. Both inductions and they went perfectly. With a good doctor you should be fine, and even if it ends up a C/S you've done it before and you can do it again.
I pray every day for you.
You're baby is better and so will you labor be now that you are 38 weeks. 39 weeks may be even better!!
I'll PM you. . .

Praying, Marilyn.
I've never had a C-section but have had 3 inductions. My doctor waits until the cervix is ready and dilating on its own before inducing (which is never a problem for me. I dilate a lot but won't go into labor).
