Would you all offer a quick prayer for my birthday boy? He is 16 today and I let him go to Six Flags with a group of friends. I trust the boy who is driving, he is 18 and very mature. Still, I am having serious second thoughts, a little too late! Six Flags is an hour and a half away, and there are no adults going.
Thank you. It would help ease my stress today.

Praying, Molly. I know the anxiety...
I let my now-19-yr-old go to Houston with a friend when he was about 15 or 16. They ended up lost in downtown Houston. The friend's father was with them but they had dropped him off in front of the dome and the friend decided to sightsee alittle.
I have a 17 yr old dd who is wanting to go to Galveston this summer with a friend. The mother is bringing them and I've known these people since Kayleigh was in 4th grade.
I'm still nervous and haven't given my consent.

Molly,
Asking the boys' guardian angels to protect and watch over them. Also praying for your peace of mind. I hate it when I second guess after the fact!

Thanks so much for the prayers! They made it home safely. Well, at least they made it back to town safely. Now they are at the movies. What a birthday! It seems he's so old now the family is just too boring.
We did celebrate with extended family the other day, but still, I am feeling a little neglected as his mommy.
Thanks again. This growing up thing is hard.

Seeing this late, Molly, but glad he made it home safely. Prayers for you -- I know what you mean about this growing up thing.
