I am so nervous about tomorrow's ultrasound. I need to have peace about it. My dh was supposed to go with me, but a presentation he was supposed to give on Wed. was moved to Friday morning at the last minute.  So now I will be going alone. I'm considering taking my 17dd, but I don't know if I should, in case there is something wrong.
I probably won't sleep much tonight, like usual, but I will offer it up for all your intentions.
Jesus, I trust in You.

That's exactly why you should bring her. 17 yr old dds have a way of being very reasonable and assuring and comforting and level-headed (all things that hormonal pregnant mothers are not  ). I would certainly bring my 17 yr old dd if Daddy could not attend...and probably my 19 yr old ds as well.

Ruth, I will be praying for you. I ended up going alone to all of my ultrasounds (4) this pregnancy, and each time the tech said she was suprised to see me still pregnant!!  When I left the 20 week scan, I was walking on air and so excited I could barely dial the phone to call my husband!! I will be praying for you. Update us as soon as you can!

Ruth,
This baby is such a miracle...I know all will be well. I don't know why I can say this so emphatically but I am cheeky about it!!! Another friend would attribute it to "holy confidence". St. Therese will not fail you in her intercession and I know the Blessed Mother is unfailing in her petition for you and your family.
We all carry you in prayer as you have prayed unceasingly for us here so often.
Love you tons and tons and tons and tons (as my nephew would say)!!!!

Ruth, I am holding you in prayer...I know that feeling of anxiety all too well. My mother tells me to keep repeating "Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee" until you feel that peace. Fear is so irrational--but it's hard to tell yourself to stop feeling it!

Thank you so much, Mary, and everyone else for your prayers. My sonogram is at 9:30 this morning. Unfortunately, My husband needs to take his laptop back to work today, so I can't post any updates until later on. I didn't sleep much last night, but I had a feeling that would happen.
