About a month ago I asked for prayers as we had just found out that we would be moving from Houston to Greeley, Colorado with a 6 week stay in Atchison, Kansas as I am nearing the end of my pregnancy. Things have been falling into place, thanks be to God! We have found a place to live, we have decided to have the baby in Colorado rather than Texas (which is sort of scary since I'm VBACing for the 2nd time and I don't know anything about my OB or the hospital....), and my husband's training here at Benedictine College has been so fruitful for the whole family. We are so blessed to be associated with FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students, www.focusonline.org), as they are such a faithful group offering amazing training and doing so much to build the kingdom of God! Every day here we get a holy hour, mass, and all sorts of classes on everything from Scripture, apologetics, character and virtue, etc. I even get to go with him while my children spend time with the other children and some really beautiful young college women.
Anyway, much like Campus Crusade for Christ and the Navigators (both protestant groups), FOCUS has their missionaries raise their own salaries. My husband (and I) have to fundraise our entire paycheck for each month from faithful givers. While this was pretty terrifying at first, I have really learned that from the beginning of time God has been asking humankind to TRUST Him. I firmly believe that my DH is called by God to this first-world mission work and I trust that God will provide to us through others.
After all this explanation, I just want to ask your prayers that we will be able to successfully raise enough monthly support to sustain our family and that we will continue to trust in God's goodness and generosity through others!

Oh Andrea, I'm inspired by your trust. You have my prayers that Our Lord will continue to bless your dh's apostolate, and that Our Lady would gently enfold your family in her protective mantle. It sounds as if she already has you safely there! God bless you for your generosity.
