My parents sent us the $$ to buy plane tickets to fly home this summer! I am very excited, as my girls have such a wonderful time in my tiny hometown. And the weather is much more bearable than it is in South Texas. The girls and I leave tomorrow for 65 days! We will go from NY to Denver in August. Nick is staying behind in Texas to pack, clean, move, and unpack us in Colorado. What a guy!  He will join us for a week or two in late July.
Of course, my mother and I have a long history of conflict. I have lots of day/weekend trips scheduled to give us a break from each other.
Please pray for safe travel for us (we leave tomorrow on a 6 am flight!) and that our summer is safe, fun, productive, and conflict free!

Well, we made it three weeks. We are leaving next Thursday to go home to Colorado. My mother has so many issues and this physical and emotional environment just isn't good for me or my children.
