Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Ladies , I could really use some prayers regarding reconcilliation with my father .
I will probably be participating in a reconcilliation program for victims and abusers .
I will probably be meeting with him soon .
I am trying to be safe and secure in the Lord but still nervous .
I started a novena to Our Lady Hope which is one of my favs
Those of you who know me know how long its taken and the healing that had to happen for me to even be here willing to do this . It has not been easy fighting the wall of denial within a family never mind society .
I really hope in the end kids will be protected and on a way off hope of a miracle it'd have to be the biggest miracle my father would approach councelling and healing himself .
I'll be meeting with Fr.F next week to discuss the process . Thanks for your time & prayers , Roxie

Oh my, Roxie, this is so huge. I have been following your story and know how hard you have worked to not only heal and forgive, but to also share hope with others. I am relieved to know that you have a priest involved to discern if this is what God wants you to do. There can be so many mixed motives and agendas connected with reconciliation programs that I urge caution...not fear...just caution. You are in the best position, along with guidance from Father, to discern if this is the right timing for you. Others can ask for your cooperation, but should certainly not expect it until you are sure that it is God's will for you.

Big s from me and many prayers too. You are an amazing example of surviving and thriving and serving others. May you continue to be blessed! Praying for miracles!

Love,

Roxie,
I've been following this too - from your blog. This is such a huge cross you've been carrying for so long! I can tell by your tone though that Our Lady has been helping! I'm just going to beg her for her continued loving embrace for you. Safety there! You are certainly in my prayers!
