Dear Friends,
I come to you this morning asking for prayer for my husband. He is in a lot of pain right now. Last night, as I was at my dd's soccer game, I received a phone call saying that my dh was on his way by ambulance to the hospital. He had a steel rod go clear through his foot.
We are praising God that the rod missed any bone and just went through the fleshy part of his foot. The rod is out, but the freezing is coming out as well. As a result, the pain is starting to seep through fast and furious.
I would appreciate it, if you feel led, to pray for him today, that the pain would be tolerable and that he would stay in bed today. We are farmers. My dh was just getting ready to go into the field to seed when the accident happened. I know that it is going to bother him immensely that he can't get to the field right away.

Prayers to St. Isidore for your husband and you!
Remind your husband that the angels plowed St. Isidore's fields for him. I am sure they will find a way to help your husband seed his...when he is well enough to do it!

Ladies, thank you so much for your prayers. Dh is having a very hard time in staying off of his foot. He went seeding yesterday for two hrs. It then started to rain so that forced him to come home and rest. The pain is much worse today but he is gone again. This time he has gone to town for machinery parts. At least he has a friend driving him. (sigh)
My dh took off his bandage today. The wound does not look that bad. Praise God! The swelling and the bruising will be much worse than the actual wound.
