He's been throwing up since midnight. Then at the ER he's had a febrile seizure. The doctors are concerned because it didn't present normally--apparently, he's weaker on one side and that's not normal. So, he's getting a CT scan to rule out a brain tumor and he's getting a spinal tap to rule out spinal meningitis.
My poor sister can't seem to get a break. Please pray for my nephew, Payton (he's 3).

We will ask Fr. Patrick Peyton to intercede on your nephew's behalf. (What difference does one letter make?)
I have a 3 year old nephew named Peyton so this one hits close to home.

Please keep us updated. When my 4 yo was 2, he had a febrile seizure and took a while to fully regain the use of his left arm. Those seizures can be really frightening. And a spinal tap -- the poor kid!!!

Thank you everyone for your prayers. He's still in the hospital but they can't figure out what's wrong. The CT scan came back normal as did the spinal (thank God). They're running an MRI and an EEG today and we'll know more, I hope.
I just got home from there which is why this update is so late. He looked so awful when I saw him, it broke my heart. I can't imagine how my sister feels.
