DD and two of her friends will be confirmed this evening.

DD#2 will be her sponsor and she will take DD#1's name for her patron saint.

I feel such joy that she is receiving the gifts of the Holy Spirit as she begins her adolescent journey.

DD is St.Margaret of Scotland,
one friend, the candidate I am sponsor for is St. Cecelia, and the other friend is St. Maria Goretti.

It was lovely.
What was especially wonderful was the church was packed. Members of our parish attended, eventhough they did not have relatives being confirmed.
Such a thoughtful sign of their support for the children.
