Ladies, if you would please, please, a friend needs prayers, badly. I have a friend of the family who had cancer about 10 years ago and has since recovered. She was told she would never have children (she has 4 now) and things have been wonderful for her. She's about as healthy as you can get! She homeschools her four boys. Anyway, she was supposed to be going to a homeschool conference yesterday, but couldn't because she felt like she had the flu. Well, she woke up at 4:00 this morning, purple, and her husband rushed her to the hospital. She has a very rare form of meningitis and because her spleen was removed when she had cancer her body couldn't fight off the meningitis. She's in critical condition, the family is receiving heavy doses of antibiotics because they may have it also. At this point the CDC is on there way in and interviewing the husband about where she's been the last few days and trying to figure out where she got it. But, her family was just told that her organs are shutting down and she has about 0 chance of survival. Please, please, we need a miracle!!! I just spoke to her not long ago. She's an absolute angel...really, she's the nicest, dearest person you'd ever meet.
Please pray for her and her family...especially her husband and four small boys.

UPDATE!!!!!
Well, things are looking better!!! I can't thank all of you ladies enough...seriously...there have been so many prayers being said, it's amazing! Yesterday, the docs basically said she had no chance of survival and all organs were shutting down. Well, today her organs are starting to work again, all but her liver at this point. Apparently the liver usually bounces back from things like this, but it just takes awhile. Yesterday the docs were giving her "every half an hour" she was still alive was a miracle...well, today she's beat the 24 hour mark and her odds of survival are going up. It's looking so much better today and I know it's prayer. It's a true miracle...we just still need to pray that her liver recovers and tomorrow they are taking her off of the ventilator and going to wake her up. So, please pray that all goes well tomorrow. You ladies are awesome prayer warriors!!!! Thank you all so much!!!!
