Well, it looks as if we've got it.
Your prayers would be appreciated - my dh is working a graveyard shift which means we have to be quiet all day and prayers that I don't get it again - I had a mild case in high school....

Many prayers, Maria, for your little ones.
When I was pregnant for Elizabeth in 1995, my boys were 7 and 5. In February, they both came down with chicken pox, Michael first with a very mild case, followed by Stephen, 14 days later with a whopping case that included a horrible ear and sinus infection...he was so sick. He was so miserable for about 5 weeks with his case and told me that his sickness must be what it's like to be in hell....  My poor precious little boy...what a comparison!

Would someone please e-mail me the virus? (Sorry, that is lame). 5 of my 6 have had it, many long years ago. I really am uncomfortable with the vaccine, but can't seem to find anyone to pass it along to my 11 year old.
Not meaning to take away from the discomfort your dc are experiencing or the discomfort this gives you. I will pray that they get over it quickly and uneventfully.

On a different note, is anyone else a "baby" when their kids get sick?

Maria I think sick kids are very difficult  I will pm you with which remiedies we used, our experience with the pox was a breeze.
Although I wish I was there my littles need to get it and I don't know anyone with them. Send them my way, now is good timing

I'm with Nancy - I want that virus mailed here. Our youngest hasn't had them yet though I keep looking and trying.
I have to say, I've beed very lucky in the chicken pox department because each of my children have had it pretty young (by age 4) so they always got it with no other younger siblings to catch it after them. All their cases have been mild because where ever they were exposed it was short duration. It's those second and third cases in a family when they have had a much more extensive exposure that are tougher and more uncomfortable. I'll be praying for as many of yours to get them the first round so you'll avoid that. Do you think they got exposed at the smae time?
Prayers for minimal itching and discomfort.

I had five with it at the same time two years ago. I'm definately a baby when my kids get sick. I'll pray for your family.

My kids are now 5, 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18......and no matter how much exposure they have got......NO ONE has ewver come down with it.....worries me, a bit

I do think they got exposed at the same time as we pretty much go everywhere as a cluster or pack....
So far, Sophia's case is getting worse - she's having one more oatmeal bath right now but the other three precious ones have just been quiet all day and watching movies and stuff.....
We watched the JPII movie with Jon Voight today - WOW! AWESOME!
Anyway, thanks for your prayers....sweet little Sophia is really trying hard not to scratch!
