My niece has an appointment with her neurologist this morning. Hopefully the MRI will point to some reason for her worsening condition. My sister dreads anymore testing because no tests since November have given a diagnosis, only a "not this or that" diagnosis and because testing has caused my niece more discomfort.

I know of the supportive power of the prayers from this board and appreciate your prayers for my niece and sister.

The MRI does not show why dn is losing more feeling/sensation and control.
Rather than put her through any more testing which would be painful and probably not change her treatment she will continue to be monitored and continue with physical therapy to build strength.
At this point the MD's believe that her nervous system has gone haywire as a result of years of pain and illness. The hope is that she will recover and her other systems will not be at risk.
Dn has tremendous food, environmental and respritory allergies. She is wonderful, funny and kind.
