I would like to ask for prayer for myself,for my son Andrew and our schooling at home.

Andrew has some developmental delays and the agencies that we have been involved with have recommened special education preschool which we turned down. We got a glowing report from our former in home worker that Andrew would thrive in our homeschooling environment however we chose to have him attend a home daycare/preschool three mornings a week run by our neighbor and her friend (both previous ECFE teachers) so that the kids and I could get some things accomplished.

This week I found out that one them was reported for hitting a child and while it could not be proved there has now been a report written up on her. This was not the first incident, I had heard rumors but nothing had ever been reported and because my neighbor and I have a relationship I felt that Andrew would be safe, but now that this has happened again I can not take that chance.

The lady accused is not my neighbor and it was very hard to talk with my neighbor about this as I didn't want to ruin the friendship between us or our little boys but when I found out Thursday I immeadiately pulled him out.

My kids and I really got used to that time to get some work done, although Andrew has been better about being able to engage himself with tasks for longer periods of time. I guess we are just used to having those times to accomplish some meaty schooling and any other aspects like experiments and such when he was gone.

So I would like to ask for prayer for our days. For myself to be creative in finding ways to include Andrew and possibly for re-arranging our schedule. For patience and understanding and prayer for Andrew to continue to grow and master skills that will allow him to work along with us without it taking away from the other kids' work.
