First thank you for all of the previous prayers. Unfortunatly, we are in need of more...
We went today for Melissa's four week x-ray and there is no sign of bone growth (she broke her tibia). Her ortho is concerned and is keeping her non-weight bearing for another four weeks.
Please pray that the bone will begin to grow and that she will have a full and complete recovery.
Blessings,
Theresa

Sorry for the bad news. Praying here.
St. Jude intercede for Melissa.
I hate when people do this, but nonetheless, I'd try freshly juiced carrot juice for bone growth.

Dear Theresa,
I just checked in looking for an update on Melissa, but I realize that it will be a few weeks before you know more. I'm in the middle of a "Novena of Healing" (from the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to the Feast of St. Anthony). Melissa is high on my list of intentions in the Novena.
"Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on us!"

Thanks for checking in. We have her next apt. in 2 1/2 weeks. Today her leg was painful, but the worst is that she is losing ground developmentally. Her speech is becoming more choppy. She is crying more, her color is pasty. I really feel awful for her.
Please keep her in your prayers.
Blessings!
Theresa

Sending prayers for love and healing to you and Melissa... I've been offline a lot lately but I want you to know that you've been in our prayers. May Melissa receive help from her guardian angel in dealing with the frustration and may your guardian angel help you with yours.
Blessings...
Liz

So sad for Melissa and how your heart must ache. Our Lady place her mantle around both of you and send some extra angels too, please

Thank you all so much for the concern and prayers. Right now the news is mixed. There was some bone growth, but not what was expected. She had the cast removed on Wednesday and was placed in a splint. Wednesday night and Thursday saw lots of pain and swelling. The splint was removed and a smaller walking cast was placed. She will try and walk for the first time this afternoon. Her pain is still very high, but she really wants to walk...
It has been a long process, but things are slowly heading in the right direction. Thanks again for all the prayers. We keep your intentions in our prayers too.
Blessings!
Theresa

Well, we'll keep praying that she is able to walk a little today, and that the pain lessens. :(

We got to physical therapy this afternoon. Melissa was too weak to anything other than stand on her healthy leg a few times. We will practice standing on her left leg and then will go back to therapy on Tuesday. She is a very brave little girl!
Blessings!
Theresa
