Please pray for my Andrew who had a Q-tip without the cotton on it in his ear and fell onto the couch and punctured his eardrum. Don't ask how this could happen.
It should heal within 2 weeks but if it doesn't he'll need surgery. The doctor said the hole is very large and there was blood so they couldn't get a good look.
If you think of it too please pray that I can forgive myself for this happening. 
This is the third major injury this week-a very broken nose and a very injured heel.

Oh Sarah,
You poor thing!  I'm tellin' ya - those kids will shave years off our lives! I'm so sorry for you all. Don't be too hard on yourself, dear. These things sometimes come in spate like this. What a scary injury!
Gosh darn it, I think it's you-know-who trying to get to ya during Lent. We'll all hold you up in prayer!

Thanks Ladies,
Andrew cried hard at first and the sight of blood trickling out of his ear scared me. Then he fell asleep. It seems like my kids always fall asleep when they are hurt. He woke here and there crying a pulling at it and when we put the antibiotic eardrops in he screamed (stung?).
Now, its been 5 hours and he's eating and playing, but a little clingy. Luckily, the doctor said that he shouldn't have more pain. He compared it to cutting your finger. It hurts like crazy at first but then the stinging goes away. Now they just worry with a hole that size that it might have a hard time healing.
Thanks for caring. I think I've cried more than he has.

Mary Beth did that to Nicholas when he was a toddler. She was "helping" me. It bled. He healed up fine, though. Praying.
