Okay, maybe I am clueless, but I have no idea what you are talking about! Am I missing out on something?

Molly, a while back, Macbeth had the wonderful idea to hold a Virtual Wine Tasting. This thread is for comments on the Bogo Rosso, the first wine we are tasting. Here is the original thread.

I kept checking back here hoping someone would post so I wouldn't be the first . I'm trying hard to get this posted while my 2 yr. old begs to nurse (haha says Michelle).
We had a lot of fun (MaryM and MichelleM; MaryG couldn't be with us). We started off with this video from the library. From it we all learned how to twirl our glasses, appreciate the aroma, slurp air in through our lips and "feel" the sensations.
The Rosso was so good. Everyone liked it, even the non-red wine drinkers.
We started out with a Merlot with which to compare it and then we tried the Aquinas Chardonnay (is that the right name?). That was nice and crisp. The Rosso was very smooth and definitely fit for Easter dinner.

OK...I liked the Rosso. It was a nice smooth "table wine" with a fairly strong currant flavor. It ought to go well with lamb.
I have to go and p/u the Aquinas a few towns from here. I'll let you know how it compares!

Okay, the toddler is asleep.
I really liked the Rosso. Nice color. Very smooth with a subtle taste of nasturtiums.
I can't wait to serve it at Easter.
I also liked the Aquinas. It was crisp and light with a definite pear taste. A great spring and summer white. It would work well for a brunch.
Mary G., we missed you! We should have just had you slurp and spit!

I don't know about Michelle, but I eat nasturtiums. They are peppery, and make a great addition to salad and soup.

I really enjoy the BOGO. It's flavorful, not too sweet or too dry, not too heavy (what I want to call "thick", but I'm sure there's a proper word for that quality in a wine). Just right. It's great with dinner or just for having a glass of wine.
Can someone please share the full information on the white wine you're talking about? Then I can look into where I can get it. Thanks.
Peace,
Nancy
