I hate to be asking for prayers ... again, but my whole family has been sick with the flu this past week. Everyone seems to be getting over it but my dd Avery. She always seems to struggle with sore throats and congestion. Yesterday, I thought that she was better and let her go out to play for a few hours. Today she seems to be having a relapse--fever, more congestion, and a sore throat.

I am taking her to the doctor this pm. We cannot see her regular doctor, so we are seeing the physician my children call "the shot man." She is apprehensive about doctors anyway, but this makes it even worse. She did tell me, however, that if I took her for a shake afterwards, she would be okay with it.

I ask you to please pray for my daughter. I worry so about her.

Well, as usual, no strep, no flu. Just a cold with a bit of a fever. And the same prescription--TLC with Benadryl and Delsym should the cough prove to be too much. I guess I am just an old worry wart. Thanks ladies for your prayers!
