If we're using ILL or PLL do you think we still need to do additional copywork/dictation or just follow what's assigned in the book?

I'm using ILL with my 5th grader. We do copywork 4 days/week and dictation once a week. If the ILL lesson we are on that day has either copywork or dictation, then we do that instead of whatever else we would have copied or written from dictation.

We use both ILL and PLL and sometimes for dictation we choose from materials that we're reading but occaisionally follow the ones in both books. Gee, not a real solid answer huh?
