Just 1 degree F at 11:50 am in south-central Wisconsin. Pretty nasty wind chills.

Ahem --- it is 12:09 here in sunny west central Minnesota. The current temp on the deck is.......(can we get an emoticon of a drum roll?)....
22 below zero.....
Not counting the wind chill factor....

Whoa.
Maybe that's another reason Minnesotans move to Wisconsin... to jump up to the balmy zero degree mark.

Weather.com says it was 32 (but felt like 22) at 1 p.m., with wind 13 mph gusting to 20 mph. It's partly cloudy. The high is supposed to be 35 today. We live in Northern Virginia.

12:30 CST just outside Chicago...4 degrees and very windy. It is suppose to be -7 tonight. Lots of blankets and snuggling at bedtime I suppose. Our thoughts and hearts are in Miami this weekend with the Bears so nobody is complaining about the weather(for once!)
Stay warm!

It is 66 degrees at 2:00 pm down here in Southern Florida. The really scandalous thing is that yesterday I actually ran the AC for several hours!! Not so much because of the heat (85), as because of the humidity (90%, and I felt like I couldn't breathe). But after seeing other people's responses, I guess I can't complain about the heat down here!

In Elk River it is -11 and feels like -29. No need for A/C here unless the fireplace gets too hot! Then we just open the window for A/C!

Okay, Jacinta? and Lisa??? Be quiet !!! I only get to run my AC in August!
And Tracy -- you are in Elk River??? I'm just up 169 from you -- exactly 48 miles from my driveway to Home Depot!
We are practically neighbors! In fact, I was just in Elk River yesterday. Now we have to meet!!!!!

It's 1:30 PM right now and reading 47 F.
It's been in the upper 20's/lower 30's every morning and we've had non-stop rain for over a month now and ice every morning so the daytime temp never gets over 49 F.
The sun's out today but it's still chilly.
We haven't had a winter like this in SW Louisiana in ages. It's crazy!
