We've decided to buy a new notebook computer after mine died last summer. We're thinking about getting a Macbook. Does anyone here use a Mac? If so, could you tell me how you like it? (We're also looking at Dells and HPs.)

Angela, somewhere there's a very recent thread on this (I know because I shouted the praises of the Mac there!

)

If you do a search, it should come up pretty easily. I know it was in the last 4-6 weeks, maybe 8?

I'm a true-blue Mac fan. I've been using Macs since the mid-80s --models that are now meant only for museums. I wouldn't trade my mac for the world.

I used PC's exclusively (including spending a few years as a software/hardware trainer) since the 80's.

After looking at what it would cost my family to upgrade to new operating systems this past summer, and considering all the rules/regs that were being implemented regarding PC software, I bought an ibook and LOVE IT!!!!

DH bought a MAC desktop soon after. We're saving up to get the boys a MAC and then we'll dump all the PC's in the house. I love the fact that one piece of software carries multiple licenses for a family, and I appreciate their homeschool education discount.
