On February 4th, it will be the one year anniversary of Oliver's death. I have had Molly on my mind much in these last few weeks, thinking how hard it must be for her and her family right now. My heart just breaks with hers. I keep wondering, what would I want to do right now, if I were in her shoes? My thoughts keep returning to scrapbooking. I would want to make a memory book of Oliver's life, something tangible to turn to, when I want to concentrate on this little love.

Then, I was inspired. I thought maybe her friends here could help me to put together the supplies for making this memory book.

I talked to Molly tonight (I really enjoy chatting with her!) and she is open to the idea of making a memory book. Think how special the memory book will be, knowing it came from friends, to keep Oliver's life close at hand.

Could you please help me to make this happen? I am willing to collect monetary donations for those willing to help. Once I have the total, I will know how much to get her.

At first I thought we could just all send her supplies....but, after talking to her about color preferences, I am just going to put together an order with my sister. My sister sells Creative Memories products and will give me the 30% discount (her cost) plus tax and shipping.

I will put together an album, refill pages and page protectors and papers and stickers in her color theme.

I want to get the order to my sister no later than the 30th, if possible. If you could PM me a commitment of funds, I will put the order in before they arrive, just to get things going. When you send me PM, I will send my address to you. I am sorry that I do not have paypal or some other easy way.......a check will have to do, or money order.

Oh, and no amount is too small. It will all add up.

I appreciate your help in this. We will be such a blessing to Molly and her family. This will really help the siblings, too.

Hey, we will be practicing the Spiritual Works of Mercy, comfort the sorrowful. God will love that.

Count me in Chari. My local friend who lost her baby last year has found it healing to scrapbook the sweet memories of the months their family had with their baby. I'm sure Molly and her children will benefit too. And, scrapbooking supplies are expensive, and perhaps a luxury that that a mourning family cannot afford.

Thank you, Shawna, for your words. And, Mary, for your help, too.

I am bumping this up for two reasons.

First, I am putting the order in by tomorrow night, so if anyone else wants to join us, you still have time.

And, second, Janet had a great idea: how about we all combine this with a special prayer for Molly and her family when you write the check or mail the envelope. I think that is so sweet.

Actually, I am probably putting a second order in next week, too.......so, if you think you missed out, just pm me and I will let you know where we stand.

Thank you to everyone who contributed for Molly's gift!

We did very well and she will be set to make a beautiful album of Oliver's dear little life, AND, will have tools afterward to keep using in future scrapbooking endeavors. You have started Molly on a new hobby......one in which I think she will find many blessings.

I am very excited to get it to her........wish I could take it to her personally............so we could scrap it together. Maybe we can work by phone

I had to order it in two parts........I am expecting the second part before the end of the week.......so, hopefully I can get it into the mail early next week!

I have received almost all of the checks.........thank you SO VERY MUCH! You are awesome and incredibly generous women!! I am honored and privileged to know you!

I want to thank you all VERY MUCH for the generous gift!! We are so excited, what a huge amount of supplies you all gave me    You are all sooooo loving and generous, we have been adding all of you to our rosary in thanksgiving for your friendship and love.
