My sils kids all had gluten, dairy, soy, you-name-it sensitivities/allergies. To the point of weeping psoriasis. (sp?)

She took them for these treatments of non-invasive allergy relief called NAET. Stands for Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique. Has to do with the electrical systems in the body.

Well within 3 days of the treatment, these little kids with life long (3-5 years) psoriasis cleared up completely and have never had another problem.

From what she says, the doctor you choose to do the job is important. Some docs are more 'detailed oriented' then others and perform the treatment more to 'code' and you get a faster clear up.

I'm going through some of the treatments now to try to clear up some nagging problems like PCOS (insulin sensitivities has some part of this), IBS and yeast problems.

I've seen a difference already and some relief and I've only had 2 treatments. I was allergic to a variety of nuts and didn't know it. I was allergic to sugar and of course yeast. I am still researching the science myself to understand better how it works.

Hi Amy,

My ds did these treatments for a while. I stopped taking him because I had to deal with some more severe health problems in another dc. He never got through the top ten.
For what its worth A very devout priest recommended this particular chiropractor to me. I was worried about this dr being "new age".
I try to practice applied kinesiology on my family when trying to choose supplements. I need to find a source to study this.

Yes, Tammy that is a good point.

Alternative doctors think outside the box and sometimes that can mean they go outside the "Christ is our King" box. Which is a very bad step indeed.

I feel compelled to take some alternative steps however, because standard medicine can offer our family no real improvement. Just drugs with side effects is the only help I've ever been offered.

Still, I can't be called a hippie or anything like it just yet. I only tried a chiropractor for the first time this past year.

And it did feel like a big step!
