Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My 5yo is just loving math right now. He wants to do addition problems in workbooks like his siblings. The trouble is he doesn't have very good eye-hand coordination and can't write the numbers. I am looking for number stamps so he can do the problems without having to write. I just hate to hold back his math brain just because he can't write well yet. Anyway, does anyone know of a good sourse for number stamps? The only stamps I found so far are 1 inch. That's just too big for the worksheets he's trying to do. If I can't find anything smaller I'll have to make up my own worksheets which wouldn't be a problem. Just hoping for a smaller stamp though. Any ideas? Thanks!

I found these. I think I recall that these are about 5/8 inch. When I have more time later I can probably find more at some of my stamping sites.

Thanks Mary! Those look really nice. I was shopping for a birthday gift for my dd's friend last night and while in the craft section of our local store I found some number stamps. They are very small - actually the right size for what I need them for. They are not as traditional looking as the ones you suggest (now I wish I would have waited) but they will do. Thanks so much for looking!

Glad you found some Becky. What a fun way to start with some math skills.

I heard someone once say that she uses blank stickers(like name tags or garage sale stickers-- something you can find in the office section at the store) and writes numbers on them. Then, her son can find the correct answer, and peel and stick. This way, you can cut them to the correct size for the worksheet.

Or, this might be too tedious . . .
