I wanted to share this picture I took this morning. 2 months ago I decided to switch to CM. I joined this board, and bought "Real Learning" last month. I have also been reading everyone's blogs. I have learned so much from everyone here. 2 months ago, I could not have imagined my 12 year old reading an Acient Egypt book to our 8 year old, let alone see him sitting still long enough to listen. I bought all the Ancient Egypt books from the book list. We had been using Seton's History, but I gave up last year. It just didn't work for us. We have done more school the past month, than in the last year. Thank you, Elizabeth, and thank you, everyone here on this forum.
God bless every one of you. You certainly have been a blessing to me.

Ruth, I saw your post and it warmed my heart. I remember when I first met you and you were in the process of transforming your home into a real learning environment. You've accomplished so much in a very short amount of time. You're an excellent example to all of us.

I just did that same kind of post here
When we bought this house six years ago MacBeth influenced the decision as much as anyone, through her love of nature study. I wasn't good about doing nature study with so many littles so we chose a house and property where we would just be immersed in it.

Ruth -- you are so right! I have old ones and little ones -- the little ones are getting the most benefit to Real Learning becuase I've had them home the whole time and I see this kind of learning around here all the time.
Wish I'd had this when I was little!

That's excellent, Bridget! I love pictures like these.
Thank you all, for your wonderful comments about my blog. I really have been inspired by everyone else's blogs. You have helped our family live out the Liturgical year with all of your wonderful ideas. Our family has benefited so much from all of you. God bless you. I will remember everyone on this forum at Holy Mass this morning. Lots of love,
