Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just found this cool clip art chart from Martha Stewart.com. It's a quick chart of pie fillings, temps and time for apple, mixed berry, cherry, peach and blueberry pies....pretty cool freebie!

This is so useful! We are pie bakers in this house, for sure. The judges at our county fair have told us to bake the pies at 350 the whole time instead of starting hotter and then decreasing the temperature. When we've done this the edges don't need to be covered to prevent burning and the bottom crust bakes beautifully. Just thought I'd pass that along fwiw, since I'm sure this lovely "pie chart" will inspire many of us to get baking!

Thanks for sharing this, Mary!

Peace,
Nancy

Thanks for the link, Mary! I'll take pie over cake any day! For my birthday, last year, I received Pie by Ken Haedrich, and I am really enjoying it.
