My DS, age 14, suffers from pretty bad dandruff. I don't like him using the chemically-based dandruff shampoos, and am wondering if anyone has a natural remedy for this condition.

From where do you hail?

Good question!

We use an "all-natural" shampoo for one of my kids:

It's called "pure and basic: natural anti-dandruff shampoo"

it is sulfate-free and based on willow bark, wintergreen extract and tea tree oil........which I often find recommended for dandruff.

At present, we (myself, DH and our children----4 at home, one in heaven, and one due to be born in April) live in North Carolina, though I hail from Lebanon via New York and my DH hails from Ireland and Wales.
