We have been unbelievably blessed! We were given today a 5' solid marble statue of Our Lady. She has her hands closed in prayer, eyes cast down, she is crushing the serpent. Anyone know her title, I have been searching the net and cannot locate the exact title. She looks very similar to Our Lady of Lourdes, but she is solid white. Any ideas?

Thank you Helen I knew I could count on you for links....of Mary
After looking further I am still at a loss, she is standing on a globe, crushing the serpent, but her hands are folded in prayer with her eyes cast down! I have been looking at images now for 2 plus hours I am getting blurried eyed! Between looking at images and then running outside, I'm exhausted......if dh would bring her in here this would be much easier....however she weighs between 400 and 500 pounds, dh says she is staying put!!! Can you imagine the nerve

Molly,
Could it be Our Lady of Washington? I'm not finding a full body view, but this looks like what you describe of her face and hands and coloring and it says in the text that she is crushing a serpent.

Molly, is there an apple in the serpent's mouth? Or stars under her feet?
She sounds just like the one at our church, only ours is colored in soft pastel hues.
What a special gift!

Yes there is an apple, no stars however. One other defining feature I just noticed, her pinky fingers are crossed.
Alice if I send you a photo can you post it, perhaps that will ring bells for someone?
