Please pray we find our children's beloved pony. He has been in our barn more than usual as of late due to the weather and has been quite frisky and needing a good run. Unfortunately, he decided to take that run down a highway. Please pray we find him and no one gets hurt!
Thank you.

Thank you! We found him thanks be to God! He must have remembered there is a ranch down the road and he headed there for some oats and fellowship!! The children were so relieved and have showered him with affection and promises of more riding time.
Thank you.

Oh how awful! Two of our horses were out of the pasture the other morning. They ran across the road to the neighbors field but fortunately got corralled there by the fence. Scared us though!

I'm so glad you found your pony.
Here I am worried about our dog getting out.
I couldn't imagine chasing down a pony or two horses.

Thank goodness you found your pony! If it were us I'd probably be even more despondant than the kids!

Thank goodness is right!
Oh, and since you had a good outcome, I can tell you something funny. When I clicked on the title of the post "Runaway Pony," I thought this was going to be the Living Literature forum. It sounds just like a book, doesn't it?

That's what I thought too, Alice.
But either way, Maddie, I'm glad you found your pony.

That is too funny. I'll have to order it for the children to enjoy. We have the quirkyist (sp?) animals around here...our duck used to spend all day talking to the chrome bumper of my 15 passenger van. Apparently she thought she saw another duck in the reflection and when we would pile in to leave for town, Jemima would chase us down the drive and down the road....We haven't really been able to blend into our new neighborhood with Runaway Ponies and Van- Chasing Ducks!
Life is great.
