I can hardly type this.

An area Catholic hs father was trying to dislodge a bullet from a pistol this afternoon and accidently shot himself at his home.    

We not only knew the family for many years from church, our hs group, and the soccer field but he worked with my husband until the recent company strike and took a job elsewhere.

He was a Knights of Columbus member, a devoted father and husband, and a devout Catholic. He leaves behind his wife Tina and their three children.

It is a tragedy and, knowing the kind of godly, family-man he was makes this so devastating it hurts.

Prayers please for the repose of Eric's soul and his family during their time of grief.
