Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I thought I'd make my life easier by subscribing to the topics that interest me, but the ton of e-mail has been driving me crazy!!! I tried to change my settings but I'm still getting e-mail. Help please? No hurry though, just when you get the chance, Tim.

Stef-

Just go to the thread (or forum) that you are subscribed to and look for a link at the bottom that says "un-watch this topic for replies" (or "un-watch this forum for replies") and click on it.

Stef, if you have removed your Subscription settings and still getting a lot of mail, here's another tip.

Unless you uncheck that little box "Email Notify me of Replies" all replies to the threads you have contributed to will fill up your inbox. If you go to Settings and Email Notifications you can uncheck some of those topics.

Thanks, Jenn and Tim. Jenn, I actually tried that several times before today, but the checking and unsubscribing wouldn't take. Did you fix something, Tim? Suddenly it worked just now.

It doesn't "take" right away. I found I was getting emails for a few hours, but it does work (at least in the past).

It's scary to see how many threads I've contributed. Yikes!

No, Jenn, I meant that after checking the boxes, and pressing Unsubscribe, the page reloads, but the entire list is still there. Now, after pressing unsubscribe, the page reloads, but is empty and tells me I have no subscriptions. That never happened before.

Thanks for your help!
