Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know how to get black paint off of bricks. We've tried chlorox, and pressure washing. I've heard of using muric acid but that the concentration is important - but don't think it works with paint on brick. Anyways - we'd love any ideas, especially the safer ones.

I used Peel Away Paint remover on my front steps...It worked very well...I had to do it a few times. It is non toxic and is very easy to use. I found out that it is best to lay it on thick to help it get through multiple layers of paint. I was able to get mine from Home Depot... My steps were cement, but they did have lots of places for the paint to get into...I was able to just peel much of that paint away with the help of a little extra scraping and a wire brush. Come to think of it,
I think if I did one more coat, I might not have needed those tools.
