What are your favorite No Bake Cookie Recipes?
Marianna and I are getting in the cookie mood, but would like to try some other cookies besides our Key Lime Snowballs!
Is there such a thing as No Bake Cut Out Cookies?
Good fudge or candy recipes would work too...

I think we might make Potato Candy after our Park Day this afternoon! We've never tried it...
1/4 cup cooked white potatoes
confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla
peanut butter
Mash potaoes, add vanilla, and approximately 1 box of confectioners sugar until soft dough is formed. Divide dough in fourths. Roll between wax paper until 1/8 inch thick. Spread thin layer of peanut butter on each layer. Roll up like jelly roll. Refrigerate overnight. Cut into pieces and serve - may sprinkle with confectioners sugar if desired.
Each fourth may be dyed different colors with food colorings and flavored with a different extract for a variety platter, the peanut butter may be left off if it wouldn't taste good with the chosen extract - peppermint vs. almond

Here's my favorite (only?) no bake cookie recipe. I make this monthly...maybe weekly...
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
3 T. cocoa (about 1/4 cup)
Mix well and cook about 3 minutes over med-high heat.
Remove from heat and add:
1 t. vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
Beat together and drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Let harden.
Yumm-O!

Paula - I've never seen that recipe. Similar to one I have but minus the peanut butter!
Stef - the Sugarplums look fabulous! Do you think I could chop finely enough with a knife or use a blender rather than a food processor? If not, I may try mixing all but the fig and kinda stuffing it with the remaining mixture.
Marianna and I are totally making the GORP Balls as they're right up her alley, she's not too fond of sweets, but she wants to make something for Christmas!
Thank you both so much!

Jennifer,
I found a few variations on Rice Krispy Treats. Not exactly cut-out material, but they can be molded in molds and cookie cutters and sculpted as well.

Hi Jennifer, with both the GORP balls and the Sugarplums, we put in whatever we want to put in/have on hand, so there's no one recipe.... and sometimes they're rougher than usual, e.g., with larger pieces, sometimes they're smoother if I use a food processor, etc. Chopping by hand is fine. The fig stuffing sounds like a great idea!!

Jennifer I am dying to try those key lime balls!
Here is my favorite no bake "cookie":
Oreo Balls
One Pack Oreo Brand cookies
6-8 ounces cream cheese
One bag white chocolate chips
One tablespoon Crisco (not butter)
Put Oreos in food processor and pulvarize them until they are crumbs. Add cream cheese to food processor. Blend thoroughly. Take this mixture and form it into little balls, slightly larger than a shooter marble. Chill balls on a platter in your fridge. While these are chilling, melt white chocolate chips on the stove with the tablespoon of Crisco. Dip cold oreo cookies balls into white chocolate and place on tray. Allow to cool. Chill and serve.
Yum!

Here's another Oreo recipe....
Melt candy melts, add a few drops of peppermint and dip Oreos in candy, chill.
My children are younger than your daughter but they think these are yummy and my 3 & 4 year olds can do it all and don't lose interest b/f we're done.

Rice Krispy Treats! Gwen, picture me slapping my forehead it's been years since I've had a Rice Krispy Treat! Perfect for cutting/shaping.
I'm glad to hear I can just chop away, Stef, and the GORP and Sugarplums will be as yummy as can be!
Oreos are a big hit around here. Last year's favorite no-bake treat was a white chocolate dipped Oreo smeared with a bit of cream cheese and topped with half a strawberry and a sprig of mint. They looked lovely and Marianna could whip them up in a moment and take them to Cocktails under the Tiki where they were VERY popular. Chocolate dipped Oreos could be used as well as the flavored cream cheeses...

I'll throw in one of our favorite no-bake recipes. My 15 yo son won 1st place this year at the county fair with this recipe.
PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
3 3/4 C POWDERED SUGAR
2 C PEANUT BUTTER
1 STICK BUTTER
3/4 BROWN SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA
MIX WELL TOGETHER, PRESS IN 13X9 PAN. (eta: mixture will be crumbly, but will press together nicely)
MELT 1 PACKAGE OF CHOCO CHIPS (WE LIKE MILK CHOC BUT SEMI-SWEET ARE GOOD TOO) WITH 2 TSP BUTTER ON STOVE TOP, USE QUICKLY AS IT HARDENS FAST
SPREAD ON TOP OF PEANUT BUTTER MIXTURE. CHILL.
I guess you could press out shapes if you wanted to before they chill? Never did it that way, we just cut into sqaures.
Hope you enjoy.

Thank you so much for the recipes, ladies! Haven't got to them all, of course, but Marianna wanted to second the Oreo recommendations - she loves Oreos! Her own "Strawberry Delights" recipe is here.
We'll have fun this Christmas season making these yummy treats! Maddie, I'll let you know how the Peanut Butter Cups cut out when we make them!
