Our prayers have been answered. Mary Helen was born at 12:59 AM on 12.5.06 in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
God is so good! Mary interceded at every point in this journey.
My dh was at a client's in Chicago today when he received the news. He called me immediately. He told me we had a referral and to go check my email. There she was...beautiful and tiny. We are in love!!! 
We don't have any travel plans yet. Dh can't wait to kiss her cheeks and snuggle her. I think I am still in shock..I had to ask him if she really was a girl!!!! 
Thank you for the prayers and kindness during our adoption journey. I hope to post pictures at my blog tomorrow. We have nine photos and are enthralled by her.

Thank you for all the well wishes. We are just delighted. My aunt can't wait to see how she wraps Daddy around her little finger. I can't wait to see how she wraps big brother around her little finger.
I posted some photos on our blog.
We are just full of joy over our new blessing. The priest at Mass told us never to give up hope since the infant Jesus brings it to us. I promised God I wouldn't..I came home to the phone ringing with the great news.
