Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've been thinking about getting one for a few years. I'm curious if anyone here has one, what kind, likes, dislikes, etc.

Hi Melissa,
I use a Dell Axim. I like it because I can sync it with my laptop and print out monthly calendars for my family. For example, once we are closer to January, I'll go ahead and print the family calendar for January so all can refer to it. Yet, I'm also carrying around the same calendar in my PDA. Mine allows me to upload Word Documents so I can also carry around the address roster from our homeschool co-op. Also, as I am entering our family/friends addresses into my laptop, it's also syncing onto my PDA. Finally, mine does have wireless internet capability but I really don't use that much.

One more thing...My husband also uses an Axim. We can "beam" each other to sync our calendars just by standing nearby each other and pushing certain buttons on them.

My Tungsten Palm does pretty much everything that Martha's Axim does and hubby and I beam stuff to each other often enough to say I don't want to live without them.

I used to call the thing my "glorified address book" but there is really no joke about having all those names and address/emails always updated and with you when you need it. I keep mine in my purse when it isn't syncing with my desktop and it has saved my bacon lots of times.

Of course the calendar features are remarkable for keeping life together. Now I don't call it my 'glorified address book' I call it 'my brain'.
