My Mum will be having hip replacement surgery tomorrow. She is nearly 80 and had heart surgery a few years ago, so I am anxious about her . I would very much appreciate prayers that the op will go well and for a smooth recovery.

Thank you all so much for the prayers. I can't tell you how much I have appreciated all the prayers for my family this year.

She had the operation this morning and everything went to plan. I spoke to her this evening and she sounded woozy (not surprisingly!) but herself. At least the surgery is safely over. Next step the recovery period ...
