Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I bought a big art book of Norman Rockwell prints at a sale for $3 specifically to use for art prints for the kids.

Now, as I look through the book, it is such a beautiful work that I can't bring myself to tear pages out. But that is exactly why I bought it!

What to do... I feel silly...

It sounds like the same book we have. I just have them look at a page at a time, that way I don't have to tear out any of the prints or text.

I wonder if you could pick up a clear cookbook holder at the bookstore. This would allow you to display each work in the Norman Rockwell book easily without ever tearing it up.

I love Norman Rockwell and have used wall calendars with his art in the past.

We have a HUGE book of Norman Rockwell. It is literally about 3 inches thick, and it is 24 inches tall by 18 inches wide. It contains all of the covers from the Saturday Evening Post that he painted with a page of explanation for each. The book is amazing and the funny thing is I have no idea where it came from. My husband had it when we got married and he has no clue where he even got it. I just keep it on the coffee table and every now and then my kids will take interest and look through it. My older son will read about the artist or the pictures. The really neat thing is that it is like a giant history book. We were comparing the art from Christmas 1926 and 1943 and you could tell a little about what was going on in the world at that time. Almost all the magazine covers from the early 40's had a soldier in them or some reference to the war. It's really a treasure and there is no way I could cut it up. I don't think I have to as the kids learn so much from it just the way it is. They can spot a Norman Rockwell anywhere - especially in the doctor's office!
