Found out about a new movie on our Lady of Guadalupe. Website is Guadalupe: La Pelicula. The movie is in Spanish and is showing at selected theatres in the US. Anyone see this yet? Looks like one I'd like to have on a DVD --one with English subtitles.

By the way, I read in our bulletin that Guadalupe (in the Indian language) means the one who crushes the serpent. As Father Corapi says, "Your Momma wears combat boots!"

I'm hoping that this one comes out on DVD with English subtitles. My youngest daughter has a great devotion to Our Blessed Mother as Our Lady of Guadalupe. We have so many books, movies and other items related to Her around here. I'd love to add this to our collection.
Unfortunately the movie doesn't seem to be coming to PA.

In the $5.50 movie bin at Wal-Mart yesterday Marianna found a DVD of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It was in Spanish though so we didn't get it and I couldn't tell a thing about it but that it pictured Our Lady on the front with Juan Diego. (Must learn Spanish soon!) But if you know or are learning Spanish it might be a possibility if you feel up to digging through that heap to find it.

Oooh! We just watched the preview of your movie, Kelly, very exciting looking and it is showing in Homestead! I'm shocked!

What do you think - is it subtitled in English in the theaters here?
