Hubby's leaving for a 5-day business trip so he's taking the boys with him to my mom's and dad's. They've been asking the boys to stay with them forever but it's never happened (they're 10 and 8) because they're my "babies" and didn't grow up near my parents, unlike my 15-yo who feels like they're her second parents. Now they're both mentally and emotionally prepared for it, and I am too (I think) and my parents are excited, and it's only for a few days!
But I do worry a bit -- safety on the road, safety while they're there (they tend to get rough sometimes and wrestle, and I'm afraid of them stressing out my parents or them getting hurt), boredom (they have toys and books and DVDs, but still...)...
So could say a little prayer please, for their safety on the road going there (6 hours) and coming back, and for them to be okay and my parents too while they're taking this little adventure? Thank you.

Thanks for the prayers. They've just called here. We are already missing each other  but my parents are so excited, and the boys are too, that I think this trip might indeed be a blessing for all of us.

Praying for all of you, Stef! Sounds like some great memories are in the works! What a blessing to have parents you can send children to visit.........trust me!

Just wanted to post an update. The boys are doing great and my parents are too! They are having the time of their lives. It's our 4-yo who misses them the most.
Yes Chari, my parents are awesome -- and my kids know it.
Thank you for your prayers. They really help, esp. for my peace of mind.
