Homiletic and Pastoral Review
This link gives a sample issue with subscription information in the side.
It's my only subscription. I like it because it has relatively "scholarly" articles which are readable. (Scholarly because the articles include footnotes.)

We receive Faith & Family, Our Sunday Visitor, Catholic Answers, Heart & Mind and Magnifikid in the mail. I pick up Magnificat each month at the Catholic shop (it's time I subscribe!) and The Pilot (Boston Archdioscese newspaper) at Mass.

What a tough question. We've had subscriptions to most of the ones mentioned at one time or another.
The key question for me would be: "What do I want from this?"
If I want something intellectual, I might go with Homiletic & Pastoral Review, The Latin Mass Magazine, etc.
If I want something family-oriented and not so mentally taxing, I might choose Faith & Family.
If I want a daily devotional, I might choose Magnificat. (Here, we have long since replaced that with the Liturgy of the Hours and In Conversation with God.)
If I want news and some pick-me-ups, I might pick The National Catholic Register. I might also consider L'Osservatore Romano -- we've not gotten that one yet though, due to price.
If I want something for the children, I'd probably pick My Friend (if a girl teen, True Girl).
Our current subscriptions are Catholic Hearth and My Friend. We're going to let Catholic Hearth go for now. It wasn't as great as we expected; it was good though! Mom and Dad just don't have the time these days for most subscriptions to be worth it for us, and our home library has plenty to keep us busy if we want something spiritual, intellectual, or otherwise. Plus, there's always the internet if anything on the shelves or at one of the libraries (incl. local Catholic parish and in-home libraries).
