Dd has been bugging me for more science.

i though for december we would look at the solar system and tie it in with the star of bethlehem.

I have a bunch of books and I was going to make some 3-part cards and other stuff but everything just changed.
all my books are now wrong as is my poster.

ANy place i could get good pics and the updated info?

cheap ie free and soon?

any other ideas for projects experiments would be appreciated

Well, not free, but this month's National Geographic has a nice double-sided bonus poster of the eight planets, with a few dwarf planets also (included poor, demoted Pluto).

This is good to know.

I've been taking the kids to Checkers Burger for fun meals because the toys are nine (including Pluto ) hand-size planets plus one moon. We have almost all of them...just need the moon and Jupiter and Neptune.

I saw on Dawn's blog that her family has the planet balls as well.
