Hi all! I just wanted to let you know that Miss Flannery Ophelia was born last Friday morning around 4am. I woke up at 2am with very painful contractions but because my labor ALWAYS stalls around 7cm and the dr has to break my water to finish the job I thought I thought I was just having bad back labor 
Well then the pushing contractions came and my darling husband got intouch with his inner midwife as he deliverd his 5th child 
It was a beautiful experience! All the kids got to come see their newborn sister and they were soooo thrilled!
We did have EMS come and they took me and baby off to the hospital (where I recieved more medical intervention than I have ever recieved before  ).
We are doing fine, but I would ask that you pray for my family as everyone has some yucky colds (I'm coming down with it too  ). Just pray the baby stays healthy! (We are offering it up for little Karoline and your family Elizabeth- we pray you guys are on the mend)

What a great thread title and great story! Congratulations to you all Alison and we will certainly pray you all heal quickly and little Miss Flannery stays well.

for you and your hubby -- a friend of Sean Chapman's has also "caught the baby" a couple of times when he didn't believe his wife was in labor!

Thank you all for all the congratulations. We are loving the babymoon. My dh has gotten to be off all week long
My 4yold ds has claimed Flannery for his own. He told dh "it's not fair mommy keeps hogging the baby!" 
Wow Louise! How beautiful to have your dh deliver so many of your dc.
