Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Am I reading this all wrong on the website? From what I can tell, the game cartridges are $28, but the game system is $499 I hope I am missing something, because I too enjoyed the online teaser.

Thanks,
Sharon

Hey Mary we think alike I've been looking for ideas for Christmas too and I looked at that game

Have you seenDivinity Games? You can get them either as computer or board games. With the computer you have both Bible and Catechism CD's the board seems to be only Catechism. I'd love to know what anyones thinks.

What I would love would be a game that combines Bible, Catechism, Church History, Apologetics and the saints all together, like a Catholic Pursuit. Is there such a thing?

We got the Divinity Board Game years ago and yes, it is based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Basically, there is a board that the players move around. Each space is a different category of questions like "Creation" or "Communion of Saints" or "Eucharist" (If you want to know them all I can tell you) Then there are 3 question booklets. They are labeled easy, medium and hard so the whole family can play. We loved playing this game after dinner with just the question booklets. We would take turns asking the questions and just see if the person could answer. No points or game board even necessary. Some of the questions were really good conversation starters!
Hope I'm explaining this clearly.

We have Catholic-opoly which our kids love to play. We bought it at the Catholic Shop in Chantilly a couple years ago. That might be another game to look into?

I looked at the Catholic Jeopardy site-wish they had one for home use that would be cheaper. Wonder if I can talk our DRE into buying it for CCD? Dh just proposed to the Knights that they purchase the Mini Mass Kit for the CCD program.....hmm.
