My friend Alene has been diagnosed with Pituitary Macroadenoma, which is a large tumor at the base of her skull, on the pituitary gland.
She is the homeschooling mother of eight children who range from baby to college age.
Can you keep her in your prayers as she goes through meetings with neurosurgeons in the upcoming week or so? She is anxious about the waiting period and is feeling very scared and overwhelmed.

Rebecca, I'm praying for your friend and your family. I have a friend whose teenage daughter just found out she had a tumor on her pituitary. It's scary.

I stopped to see Alene yesterday and she thanks you all for your prayers. She saw a neurosurgeon on Wednesday and was encouraged that her condition is very treatable. She has a second opinion appointment with another neurosurgeon in another week. She is also seeing an endocrinologist regarding considering gamma knife therapy or medication.
Alene is asking for prayers as she decides which course of treatment to take.
