Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am finally able to purchase a new slow cooker. Does anyone have any recommendations / opinions / favorites?

Thanks so much!

My husband bought me a new slow cooker recently. I'm really happy with it. It's the Rival Crock Pot and the settings are digital. It's really easy to use and shuts off automatically (which is nice because I've over-cooked many times)       I forgot the exact size, but it's the biggest oval one. I definitely recommend getting the biggest one possible.

This is so funny -- I just got a crockpot at Costco -- the Rival 5 qt oval one with the removal dish so you can put it on the table and it doesn't look bad -- also has a clear lid so you can see what's cooking.

Mine is from Hamilton Beach and I am quite happy with it. Cheap, effective and easy to clean. Two thumbs up from me.
