Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Please share with us the joyous news!!!! Em's new hubby just called her from Germany, he will be arriving at Ft. Bragg tomorrow morning. He will be up here in NY sometime next week, when he gets done with his debriefing. Em was so shocked, she thought he was still in Kuwait, waiting for his plane out. He didn't tell her he had left either, he waited till she noticed that there wasn't a time delay on the call.

Wonderful news!

Let me just say for anyone whose family is in the Army, I'm only about 45 mins. from Ft. Bragg. If there's anything I can ever do for you, a place to stay, etc., just give me a holler! My dh was in the Navy for about 12 years and I still remember that feeling of waiting for a loved one to come home...

They were married August 4th of this year. He came home for his two weeks leave at that time. So he was here a week before and a week after the wedding.

He should be at Ft. Bragg in about an hour!!!!!!!!

How wonderful he's coming home! Was he at Camp Navistar?

My brother started his tour in April, and he plans to visit us with his new wife (married 2 weeks b4 he left) during his 2 week leave in February. I know they're anxious to start their life together living in the same place.

Prayers & blessings on your daughter & SIL!

No, he was at Camp Anaconda(when he was at a camp). He spent some time in Afghanistan, and all over Iraq. He is an Airborne Ranger, thinking about going Special Forces. I would rather see him at a desk somewhere...but he wouldn't be happy doing that.

I have been thinking of your dd and son in law for the past few days. How amazing to only have a week together and then have to part for months. What a sacrifice they make and in fact all the families involved in the services.

How did the reunion go? Is he home for long?
